Every spiritual teacher will remind you of the virtues of giving, but how often are we reminded of the value in taking?
Taking so often implies greed & selfishness, two characteristics we understandably seek to avoid…but love can guide all of our actions, and the act of taking is no different.
So many of us feel drained physically and energetically because we are giving what we don’t have.
We are trying to carry the weight of the world – or at least that of our own personal “worlds” – on our shoulders, and we feel guilty when we take pause to recharge and ask our body and soul “what do you need?”
But the truth is, the Universe wants to shower us with gifts, and taking those gifts is simply our willingness to show up with an open heart and open hands to reach for what we desire. (more…)
A few months ago I treated myself to a retreat in the woods, with the intention of healing and inspiring new creations for my coaching practice.
Not only did I schedule in an amazing White Light healing from Belinda Davidson during my time unplugged, but I had also booked an intense energy-shifting massage from the host of my retreat.
Every attention to detail was paid from the warmth of the room to the richness of the music to the luscious scents of the oils, and I was in bliss as I felt shifts in both my physical and energy body while Randy worked his magic.

As a coach, I am so lucky to work with clients who are ready to truly embrace their role in creating the lives they want to live.
I believe they were able to make big changes in their lives (and that you can too if you so choose!) because they committed to practices that brought both awareness AND action to the mind, body, and soul.
Of course the reason they connected with me and cultivated a support team was because there was something that kept them from where they wanted to be in the first place. (more…)
